Coming from Crested Butte to Tincup, Colorado
- Head south on Highway 135
- You will come to Jacks Cabin Road and you will make a left turn. Known as Jacks Cabin Cutoff.
- Continue on Jacks Cabin Road. (It will turn into a dirt road for a little bit) and you will continue till you come to the end.
- At the end of Jacks Cabin Road you will make a left turn. The road will now be pavement.
- Continue on this road heading towards Taylor Dam and then by Taylor Reservoir.
- Continue until you see the sign for Tincup.
- Make a right turn onto County Road 765 to Tincup.
- You are about 6 short miles away.
- By following these directions, you’ll enjoy a beautiful scenic drive of Taylor Park Canyon.
Coming from Gunnison to Tincup Colorado:
- Head north on Highway 135
- You will come to Almont. (right across the bridge)
- Make a Right Turn onto County Road 742
- Continue on this road heading towards Taylor Dam and then by Taylor Reservoir.
- Continue until you see the sign for Tincup.
- Make a right turn onto County Road 765 to Tincup.
- You are about 6 short miles away.
- By following these directions, you’ll enjoy a beautiful scenic drive of Taylor Park Canyon.
Coming from Buena Vista to Tincup Colorado:
- Head west on Highway 306
- Come over Cottonwood Pass
- Come to County Road 742 and make a left turn.
- Continue on this road till you come to the sign for Tincup which is County Road 765.
- Make a Left turn onto County Road 765 to Tincup.
- You are about 6 short miles away.
